- University Degree in Communication, specializing in Print Media.
- Multilingual education, Certificates in English (FCE Cambridge) and French (UNC)
- High Proficiency in Italian (seven years living in Italy)
After five years of full time work as a writer and copyeditor in a very dynamic design and publishing agency in Cordoba (Argentina), where I have taken part in the creation of contents for several specific products for print media industry, I moved to Italy and started freelancing as a linguist and communication expert for both European and Latin American markets.
Now, I work mainly as a freelance translator, focusing on Italian into Spanish translations, but I also deal with English and French source texts. Besides, I keep working as a journalist, publishing on a regular basis, and specializing in Architecture and Design, field in which I have developed a +10 years experience.
As a translator, I can deal successfully with many different fields, as you can appreciate in my Curriculum Vitae. A broad educational background, self discipline, research skills, and access to specialized glossaries and terminological databases have led me to achieve an important experience covering several knowledge fields in the last years.
I also have experience as an ELE teacher (Español como Lengua Extranjera, Spanish as a Foreign Language), working mainly with Italian students, a job that I love and that keeps me updated about the dynamics and varieties of my own language.
I am married to a professional basketball player, and we have three wonderful children. Thanks to his work, we are an itinerant family, travelling and living between Argentina and Europe. Parenting and sports are, hence, two areas I am particularly keen on.
