English term

2nd last

English to French Tech/Engineering Construction / Civil Engineering Assemblage d'un cabanon de jardin
Le terme est à la toute fin. On explique comment installer le parement d'un cabanon de jardin. Le parement se compose de rangées de planches de 53 1/2 po sous les fenêtres et en haut de celles-ci et de 15 1/4 au niveau des fenêtres.

9) Position the two 53 1/2" starter pieces (see detail opposite) so that they overhang the bottom plate by 3/4". The siding overhangs end stud (dotted line) by approximately 2 1/2" and remains flush with inside of the door and window openings. Fasten the first two
pieces to the frame using 1 3/4" nails. Apply the next four courses, working up to the bottom of the windows. Measure the distance between the siding and the top of the upper plate as each course is being applied to ensure that the siding remains parallel with the frame. Cheat on spacing as required to ensure that each subsequent course is aligned with the top plate. Once you reach the bottom of the windows, begin applying the smaller 15 1/4" pieces (5 courses) and finish with 2 courses of 53 1/2" siding. Trim the last two boards to fit flush with the top of the top plate. The top of the window frames may need to be cut out of the 2nd last
course.
