The problem is that in France, it is considered bad luck to celebrate something before it happens. When I got married, then had a baby, everyone was surprised when my American friends organized these celebrations. Some even refused to give presents before the wedding or birth!
The best I could suggest is:
une fête pour le bébé à venir
une fête pour la future mariée
"enterrement de vie de jeune fille"is an expression that exists, but it's the party given just before the wedding, the female "bachelor's party".
Good luck!

Malgré mon intimité avec la langue et la culture françaises, je ne connaissais pas cette nuance culturelle.
Merci beaucoup d'avoir répondu à ma question.

"shower" is what is used here
Hi Carla,
I know you have already awarded points for this one, but I wish to comment that here in Canada, we don't have any taboo of that sort, and we do have baby and bridal showers for our friends. We simply call them by their English term "shower". We'll say "nous organisons un shower de bébé pour Marie" or "un shower de mariée". So don't be afraid to use it if you are talking about Canada!
